   EndSARS protest was an exceptional movement and unprecedented in the history of Nigeria. It was a display of human limitation to torture and injustice. The protest manifested the popular saying If you cross my limit, I will also cross your limit and you will know my level of limit. Truly, the protest was an expression of lingering and long standing ‘societal absurdity which was long overdue. The intimidation of youth by their so-called friends had pushed them to the streets to fearlessly speak for their right.  The protest as it sounds is a cry to stop the Special Anti–Robbery Squad (SARS) - a fragment of the Nigerian police responsible for crime prevention. It is noteworthy to state that the protest was not against institution, or rather the unit, but a bellow to stop the evil perpetrations and propositions of individuals all in the name of SARS. Introduction In the late 19th century, plural policing gained popularity among scholars, social researchers, and private security institutions. It is a social movement for progressive change in public security and criminal justice, aimed at increasing citizen betterment and legal advancement. Progressiveness is hence measured by level of integrity; inclusiveness; democracy, transparency, accountability, involvement and fairness.  Police was coined from the Greek work "politeria" with primary responsibilities to protect lives and properties, prevent crime and maintain peace in the society. Unfortunately, they have misplaced priorities, dragged their reputation in the mud and given preference to their forbidden fruits - corruption, bribery, nepotism, inequity, and perversion.
